제대로 한국어 배우기 Learning Korean - 구어(말하기) Speaking tips

1. Free word order,

respectively comparing to other languages

(어순이 자유로움)

 

 

e.g)❤️ I love you !!!

( I love everyone who is interested in Korean, for real :) )

 

 

 

나는/ 너를 /사랑해                (= 저는/ 당신을/ 사랑해요, in polite)

[naneun neoleul salanghae]  [jeoneun dangsin-eul salanghaeyo]

S      O    V

 

 

❤️나는 사랑해, 너를 I love you

 

❤️너를 사랑해, 나는 I love you

 

❤️사랑해, 나는 너를 I love you

 

Although the order has been changed, the meaning of the sentence wouldn't be changed !

 

 

 

But in English,

 

you love I or love you, I

 

😐😐😐 ?

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Calling particles, --Ya, --Ah, --Ssi

(호격 조사 사용, -야, -아, -씨)

 

 

When you call teachers or directors or someone who is elderly. you may use Mr, Miss, Mrs etc.

In the similar way, Korean use calling particles to show respect.

 

 

 

Furthermore, since there is 🧐🧐 respect culture in Korea,

there would be more particles and more frequent than others,

We even ues this depending on how old we are!!

 

 

Sarah = 세라야 [Sarah ya] 

(Between friends who are same age or calling someone who is younger than you)

 

 

Sarah= 세라씨 [Sarah ssi]

 

When you call someone's name who is older than you,

you should use ' --씨 ', 😠😠not just callin his/her name.

or

we use '--님, 님들' Nim, Nimdeul when we call senior, seniors at school or work.

 

 

 

(That is the reason why, we ask other's age when we meet at the first time,

please don't feel offended by being asked!😆😆)

 

 

 

 

 

3. Lots of uses of 'very, too much, truly, really' etc

(‘되게, 무지, 참, 진짜’ 등의 정도 부사 사용)

 

 

Korean tend to use expression of emphasis, highlight

'very, too much, truly, really, for real, extremely' etc

 

 

되게,    무지,    참,    정말,       진짜,   진짜로,   진심,     너무,       매우

doege,  muji,  cham,  jeongmal  jinjja,  jinjjalo,    jinsim,    neomu,    maeu

very    too    very    really       really    really    sincere    too    very 

 

 

e.g)

 

😱되게 맵다 very spicy

 

😌무지 맑다 too good, clear (weather, river)

 

❤️참 아름답다 very beautiful

 

❤️정말 예쁘다 really, very pretty

 

❤️진짜 사랑해 I love you so much

 

❤️진짜로 그래 really so

 

😫진심 아프다 painful so much

 

😭너무 슬프다  too sad

 

😵매우 나쁘다  too bad, very bad
