It is a behavior that distorts Kimchi as China's native culture and food, and is a kind of actions from China attempts to subjugate Korean culture. What a logical situation, ever!

If you go into Baidu, a representative Chinese encyclopedia, the origin of kimchi is described in China.... OMG

The name was also nailed as'Pao Chai', and the explanation of kimchi in Chinese in Google Translator and Campriz English-Chinese Dictionary is defined as'Hango Pao Chai' in Chinese (韩国泡菜).

Even when Kimchi was translated on Daum/Naver, it was also known as 'Pao Chai'. Isn't that our fault, by the way?

In response, VANK promoted and suggested to change the Chinese name of Kimchi to'Shinchi' (辛奇). WHAT IS 신치....?

Since November 2020, the propaganda of "Kimchi is China's Pao Chai being stolen by South Korea and changed its name" has been continuously being used. In particular, they are actively using YouTube, which can appeal to foreigners, but the use of YouTube is blocked in China.

THE PEAK OF KIMCHI dispute

On January 9, 2021, Chinese YouTuber Li Ziqi posted a video on his YouTube channel titled'The Last Episode of the Life Series: The Life of Radish!' Showed the appearance. The problem caused controversy by attaching the hashtag as #ChineseCuisine, #ChineseFood to make kimchi appear to be Chinese food.

It can be said that the inner story is already obvious in that a large Chinese YouTuber is spreading the Chinese argument as it is. In fact, there was a case where the contract was terminated due to the intervention of the Chinese  because a Korean food tube YouTuber named Hamji said "Kimchi and ssam are Korean cuisine ." One of the evidences that the CCP is actively engaged in cultural distortion.

China's ambassador to the United Nations Jang Jun (張軍) made kimchi on his Twitter account at this time, raising doubts. In a social media account of the Chinese Commission's social media account, he mocked, ``It is because the Korean side is not confident that they are fighting over Hanbok, Kimchi, and Dano,'' and insisted that kimchi is now a food of China's 5,000-year history.

 FURTHERMORE,

In fact, it was always the Chinese side to argue with hanbok, kimchi, and dano.

Eventually, a paragraph called'Dispute over the origin of kimchi' was created in Wikipedia, which deals with the debate on the origin of kimchi between Korea and China. As of February 5, 2021, if you search for'kimchi' overseas,'place of origin' is China. It came out and was revised as KOREA.

Around February 5, 2021, when I searched Google for kimchi origin and changed the search term setting to English, a ridiculous result of CHINA came out. As the news spread among domestic netizens, feedback was sent to ask for correction, and VANK also protested against Google, and as a result, it has been changed back to Korea. FINALLY NOW!!!!!

What are we doing now?

How can we deal with this?
